Marisa has been fighting a genetic disease- cystic fibrosis (CF) all of her life. As a leader in her community, Marisa is a spokesperson for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Phoenix. Marisa can light up a room with her energy, laughter and sweet personality. She is passionate about life and her relationships. Her genuine love for people and relationships is felt by anyone who she is around. She is loved by everyone. She is a Nanny by day, and according to her dad, “Marisa is that Nanny that EVERYONE would want to have.” Front Row Foundation talked to Selena from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation where they learned that Marisa and her family are huge fans of Jimmy Buffett. The last time that Marisa saw Jimmy Buffet in concert was with her younger sister (Wellsley) and their dad, shortly before Wellsley passed away from CF.

 

Jeff Bry- Cutco Regional Sales Manager volunteered to be the event coordinator. Jeff arrived at Marisa’s house at 2:15 pm to pick up Marisa, her dad Xa, step mom- Traci and best friends – Scott and Andrea. Jeff showed up like Santa Claus and gave the family a bunch of gifts –Festive Lays to wear, Buffett CDs, DVDs, Front Row shirts and stickers and 5 tickets to see Jimmy Buffett live from the 3rd row! The Front Row Foundation surprised Marisa with 2 dozen beautiful pink roses (Marisa’s favorite) that were delivered to Marisa a few hours before she was picked up in the personal chauffeured stretch limousine Chrysler 300. With Jimmy Buffett in a CD player they were off to Marisa’s favorite restaurant- FEZ. They had a blast at the dinner! Jeff took lots of great pictures, ordered the entire appetizer menu…everybody was so full after the first course that only 3 persons ordered the dinner. After Marisa’s friend Andrea ordered Crème Brule to share with everybody- it was so good they had to order 3 more along with the rest of the dessert menu. The gang was full…Marisa, Jeff, her family and friends jumped back in to the limo and headed to the amphitheater to get there early to spend some time tailgating in the beautiful Phoenix heat and sun! Great stories…couple of beverages- it was a outstanding! Jeff went out and bought everybody Jimmy Buffett t-shirts, hats and sweatshirts- they were ready to hear Buffett play!The line to get in was enormous…but they were able to sidestep it and cruised to the front of the VIP section- 20 feet from Jimmy Buffett and the stage! Fantastic seats!!! Jimmy played for over 2 hours, the show was absolutely amazing!!! After the show ended the limo took everyone home. The next evening, Marisa and her family went to the National Cutco Conference to share their Front Row Experience.This is what Jeff Bry had to say after the night was over: “ It was an absolutely epic event…what made it so was Marisa, her family and friends! Upon meeting them I knew we were going to have a blast but after spending some time with them, I fell in love with them. I am hoping we can continue with our relationship for years to come!! It was truly one of the greatest nights of my life!”
